Decadent Slow Cooker Mocha Chocolate Cake
There are few things in life more rich and decadent than this slow cooker molten coffee cake. It is also the easiest cake I have ever made in my life. Simply mix a couple of ingredients together, pour it into a crock pot, and come back in 2 Ω hours to enjoy this cake warm. Ramp up or down on the coffee granules to get the flavor to your liking. I made this one a little mild in coffee but high in chocolate. The addition of tiny, cholate chip pieces create a hooey gooey texture that just melts in your mouth. Served with ice cream this cake is a treat that is sure to satisfy any sugary cravings you may have. Add some fruit to give it a fresh pop. The choices are endless with the many ways to change up this cake. You will feel like it is a new dessert every time.
Slow Cooker Chocolate Cake
As mentioned I added a half cup of little chocolate chips to this cake recipe. It just created an oozy feel to each mouthful that was absolutely delicious. However, in an effort to not completely ruin my waistline, I reduced the sugar content by half a cup. Another alternative to tone down the guilty pleasure is to serve this chocolate cake with some fruit as opposed to the ice cream. A mix of fresh berries would be a really good match with this cake. Some fresh orange segments would work also. And of course this cake can be eaten alone too; extra toppings are not a requirement. However, a piece of advice from one friend to anotherÖ Do not make this cake on a regular basis. It is a treat to be indulged in once in a great while. Luckily for me, I do not have much of a sweet tooth. But there are some people who do have a sweet tooth. And this cake is too easy to make and way too delicious to resist if you are one of them.
