Moist, juicy, succulent are just a few words that come to mind when I think of my garlic crusted salmon recipe. This salmon dish is covered in garlic, a sprinkling of salt and butter and oven baked before broiling to create a crispy garlic crust. As one of my favorite recipes I reserve this for holidays and special occasions. The recipe comes in handy when I need to impress. It can be served as a family meal or when hosting a party. I like to prepare by cleaning the fish and adding some salt and pepper. Then cover with the crushed garlic, I use my favorite garlic press for this as it creates the perfect size garlic crumbles, place 3 pats of butter on the top. Wrap the whole piece of fish in foil and bake until done. Broil the top to crisp up the garlic and voila, you have garlic crusted salmon. You will be left with an incredibly juicy piece of fish. Whenever I make this salmon dish I tend to enjoy it more with company. Their appreciation for the meal is always a delight and who does not like to feel appreciated. Serving suggestions are some nice roast potatoes, a fresh salad, some green beans or asparagus. The options are endless. Oh and dont forget a nice glass of your favorite wine. For me, this fish pairs nicely with a fresh Reisling. It always goes down well with fish, and you can really enjoy the combination of flavors. I hope you enjoy this one as much as I do.
