heat 1/4 tsp of olive oil in a skillet until heated. Add onion slices and sautee until softened and slightly browned, about 3 minutes. Remove from pan
add remaining 1 tsp of olive oil, garlic, wine, soy sauce, balsamic vinegar and oregano to the pan and heat until bubbling.
Add mushroom caps, top side down and cook covered for 3 minutes.
Turn mushroom and cooked covered an additional 5 minutes.
Using a bun and toppings of choice, build your burger. I used a mayo ketchup mix for the dressing and topped it with the sauteed onions, tomatoes and spinach.
