Why is it that all the things we enjoy hurt us the most. Human nature leads us to want the things that we cannot, or should not, have. However, please be warned, we are what we eat! If you enjoy a lot of fried foods,or foods that are soaked in butter or drenched in salt, your arteries and heart will show you no mercy.  I am a firm believer in “most” things in moderation.

 

Cooking is a passion I have enjoyed for the last 20 years.  Finding new recipes and creating a few of my own are my secrets to fighting stress. Inevitably when I try a new recipe I find ways to change things up a little and make it more to my liking and this is the part I find fun and relaxing. I am here to share my love of cooking and, by extension, food with all of you.  Having said that, I like to cook when I want to cook.  On a week night after a long day, having to spend hours in the kitchen is not my idea of fun.  So along with some of the more challenging recipes you will find within these pages a vast array of quick, simple and healthy recipes for everyday living.  Stay tuned for my next culinary feat…
